Shocked to discover the Tau Kua Pau stall at the junction of Joo Chiat and East Coast Road has moved or shut. So too Savory Fare, where I get pineapple tarts and order birthday cakes from.
49 Katong Laksa is also history, the coffee shop replaced by a pub.
These are the places I'll remember.
